Policies and procedures

Policies set out how we expect people to behave and how we respond when something goes wrong. They protect the people we serve, our volunteers and staff, and the organisation itself. Ours are published in full.

Code of Conduct

To set out clearly how everyone acting on behalf of Street Buffet is expected to behave, so that the people we serve are treated with dignity and our volunteers know where they stand.

Conflict of Interest Policy

To make sure decisions are made in the interests of the organisation and the people it serves, and are seen to be.

Privacy Policy

To explain what personal information we collect, why, how we protect it, and what rights people have over it.

Complaints and Feedback

To give anyone a clear way to raise a concern, and to make sure we hear it, act on it, and learn from it.

Child Safety Policy and WWCC Register

To protect children and young people involved with Street Buffet, and to make clear what is expected of every adult in our organisation.

Communications and Social Media

To protect the dignity of the people we serve in everything we publish, and to be clear about who may speak for the organisation.

REVIEWING THESE

These policies are reviewed at least every two years, and sooner if the law changes, if an incident shows a gap, or if we take on work of a different kind. If you need a signed copy for a funding application, email admin@streetbuffet.org.au.
